DCC Ugwan Rimi was created out of DCC Ungwan Kanawa on 1st January 2016. It started with five LCC’s and one LCB. The DCC was fully inaugurated by HEKAN President Rev. (Dr.) Amos G. Kiri on 20th October 2019. The first Chairman was Rev. Ishaya G. Mato supported by Rev. James Nuhu as the Vice chairman. Subsequent chairmen that followed are: Rev. Nanzing N. Bagong and Rev. Nicodemus H. Lambandaji.
