DCC Nassarawa Karaye (as it was known at inception) became a full fledge DCC in 1983, The DCC has been making steady progress and established so many churches in the area. The Gospel of Jesus Christ spread rapidly among the Hausa through the efforts of the early believers in the area. Today, the DCC has 5 Local Church Councils and several Local Church Branches (LCBs). The DCC headquarters is situated in Nassarawa Rogo in Kano State. Because of the vast nature of the DCC, it became inevitable that the DCC had to be split for easy administration. The decision was made in 1993 to carve Dogon Awo out of the DCC to form a new DCC. Dogon Awo is located in lkara Local Government of Kaduna State. The splitting was done amicably without any misgivings.
