HEKAN DCC Zaria was among the first 3 DCCs created by the General Church Council on the 17″ August 1983. The headquarters of the DCC is located at HEKAN LCC Samaru Zaria. It has experienced growth both in terms of spiritual and physical development. The DCC is today expanding to other states like Katsina, Sokoto and Zamfara States. The DCC numerical sirength has increased tremendously. DCC Zaria has over the years being supportive to the GCC by implementing all resolutions and other decisions taken by the GCC. The membership of the DCC is drawn from both staff and students of the famous Ahmadu Bello University. Later on, the DCC was splitted when LCC Sokoto became a DCC.
